GCS Admin Tool

The admin tool is a web data application created to enable Panasonic administrators create, add and edit different aspects of the airline connectivity, the tool can be used as a reporting tool by gathering data from logged-in users and guests and display the data on the dashboard that presents the data through visually appealing charts

The challenge

The goal of the GCS Admin Tool project was to create a user-friendly interface that displays large amount of data. The challenging part was that there wasn’t an actual plan for the project, while the project started as a dashboard to be used as a reporting tool, two months later, the project took a different route and the focus became on managing the connectivity and communications by providing the tools for the admins to create, add and edit customers, languages, products, vouchers, etc. which requires working with large amount of data.

Role

I was involved in all aspects of the application from the very beginning, I helped structuring the application using Angular 2.0 and Bootstrap, I was part of the brainstorming process, attended meetings with Panasonic product owners to define the requirements, I worked with project managers and backend developers to create wireframes and mockups, implement the design, create components and bug fixing.
